the end of the week came so fast!!! on day 5, we spent the morning finishing up our last few creations and preparing the classroom for a zine 'exhibit' I called our convention. i discussed zine conventions like canzine and expozine where creators have booths set up to sell & swap their creations. while we weren't selling what we made, i encouraged everyone to swap zines and we had a group button swap.
we hung the polaroids taken during the week and our flipsides above the 'booths'. everyone chatted and shared what they made. i zoomed around taking more polaroids for everyone and before long it was time to say goodbye.
Note for students: i still get teary thinking about the wonderful zine you co-created for me & I'm so thankful for all the zines you graciously gifted me for my collection. 💕
