While working at the Canadian Centre for Gender and Sexual Diversity (CCGSD) I developed and delivered digital zine-making workshops. These workshops taught about the history of zines, queer and feminist punks, and introduced some of the common graphic elements of zines. Participants were then shown some tools to create digital or e-zines through Canva in a practical workshop component. Participants made incredible zines about all kinds of topics and remarked how zine-making was a space for them to be themselves!
